Boxster Spyder version is especially designed, intended for driving with an open roof. It has an original design with low side windows, elongated hood and a new aerodynamic package, which is reminiscent of the elongated design Carrera GT.

Boxster Spyder weighs just 1275 kilograms, making it the lightest car in the entire range of Porsche. Propulsion is provided by the familiar 3.4-liter 6-cylinder engine boxser with direct fuel injection, but power is 320 horsepower, or 10 more than Boxster S. With an automatic transmission with two clutch PDK and Launch Control the use of a car accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 4.8 seconds, developed 267 km / h in the hood removed and provides an average fuel consumption of 9,3 l / 100 km.
